Energy finance veteran to lead financial strategy and operations as company enters next phase of growth

Alameda, CA – Kairos Power today announced the appointment of Ignacio (Nacho) Redondo as Chief Financial Officer, marking an important step as the company builds the financial infrastructure to support its continued growth and expansion.

Redondo brings 27 years of finance and leadership experience across capital-intensive energy sectors in the United States, Europe, Latin America, and Asia. He most recently served as Senior Vice President of Finance at Nextracker, a leading provider of utility-scale solar infrastructure, where he led the company through a period of rapid growth and expansion.

Throughout his career, Redondo has held senior finance and divisional CFO roles at public and private companies, beginning his career as an auditor at a Big Five accounting firm. He has built and led high-performing international finance teams spanning multiple continents, with experience across corporate finance, accounting, financial planning and analysis, compliance, and business operations.

As Kairos Power’s first CFO, Redondo will oversee the company’s financial strategy and operations, including corporate fundraising, investor relations, cost accounting, financial reporting and transparency, compliance, and other core financial functions. He will be based at Kairos Power’s headquarters in Alameda, Calif.

“I’m excited to join Kairos Power at such an important moment in the company’s trajectory,” said Redondo. “Kairos has a tremendous opportunity ahead, and I look forward to working alongside the team to build the financial capabilities and discipline that will support that growth.”
