Our approach

Disrupting the conventional nuclear development model

At Kairos Power, we take a disciplined approach to advanced nuclear technology development and deployment. We're building momentum on the path to commercialization through reactor-scale hardware demonstrations, in-house manufacturing, iterative testing, and proactive regulatory engagement.

This is how we make meaningful progress toward cost and schedule certainty. Through a test-to-learn process enabled by vertical integration, systematic risk reduction, and data-driven decision-making, we're working to deliver clean electricity to the grid and scale up commercially on a meaningful timeframe.

Iterative
development

Optimizing technology and maturing our capabilities with each iteration.

Kairos Power's iterative development model validates both non-nuclear and nuclear systems through successive design‑build‑test cycles. With an integrated design, testing, and licensing program and a singular focus on KP-FHR technology, we're moving rapidly toward commercialization.

Vertical

integration

Manufacturing critical components in-house to deliver on cost, quality, and schedule

We’re vertically integrated by design, unifying engineering, manufacturing, and testing capabilities in-house to mitigate supply-chain risk and accelerate deployment. This approach gives us control over outcomes—and the ability to own our destiny.
