Powering our digital future

Partnering to deploy an advanced reactor fleet
In October 2024, Kairos Power signed an innovative multi-plant agreement with Google to accelerate the deployment of advanced nuclear technology in the United States. This Master Plant Development Agreement was Google’s first nuclear energy deal and the world’s first corporate agreement for multiple advanced reactor deployments of the same design.
Under this landmark agreement, Kairos Power will develop, construct, and operate a fleet of nuclear power projects delivering up to 500 MWe of carbon-free electricity by 2035, starting with the Hermes 2 plant in 2030. Together, we’re advancing a shared mission to develop new clean energy resources while expanding community access to affordable energy.
A HISTORIC Collaboration
An opportune moment in the Tennessee Valley
Our Hermes 2 Demonstration Plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee will deliver up to 50 MWe of clean electricity to the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) grid powering Google data centers in Tennessee and Alabama. The binding power purchase agreement between Kairos Power and TVA is the first ever for a U.S. advanced reactor.
